World Affairs Seminar has gone mobile!

In an effort to modernize, INNOVATE, and eliminate paper resources, we have shifted from a paper manual to an all-digital version, called Guidebook. Guidebook is a mobile app for events like ours, that allow attendees to follow along with the event on the smartphone or other mobile device. Student delegates of the 2018 seminar are invited to download the full Guidebook

DELEGATES are invited to download this at no cost within the Guidebook app, so that you may access it throughout your week (once it is downloaded, consistent access to data is NOT required). A password/passphrase is required. These will be provided to delegates upon arrival at the seminar. If you need a paper copy, please let our staff know!

Delegates MUST vacate their room by 10:00AM.

• Trash – Empty wastebaskets and recycling into appropriate dumpsters. Make sure to have a counselor inspect your room.
• Linens – Turn in all Carroll University provided linens and towels to your floor counselor.
• Clean room – We expect you to leave your room in the condition that you found it in when you checked in. Vacuums will be available.
• Personal belongings – Make sure to double check all dresser drawers and under your bed for any of your personal belongings. Every year we find numerous personal items after guests have checked out. These are costly to return at your expense.
• Windows – Close all windows in your room.
• Check out – A Counselor will verify your room is in order and all linens are there/ not damaged.
• Door – make sure to close and lock your door.
• Key and Badge Holder – Return your (empty) plastic badge holder and room key to the lobby of your hall. A staff member will be available to accept them so that you are properly credited.
• Replacement fee for missing keys is $200.00
