by | Feb 9, 2018

Throughout the past few weeks, we have asked alumni of the World Affairs Seminar to share their stories from their seminar experiences. We have always known that our delegates go on to do great things after the seminar – this testimonial contest proved that we have some pretty amazing alumni. We are excited to announce our contest winners!

Grand Prize Winner: Sarah Stadler

Sarah comes from New Holstein, Wisconsin. She attended World Affairs Seminar in 2016 (Water: Global Resource to Share & Protect) and 2017 (Education & Social Justice: Creating Change Around the World). In her video she said “WAS is incredible! I made friends from as far as Ghana to as close as 10 minutes away from me.” Sarah has been an absolute asset to have join the World Affairs Seminar story, and we thank her for sharing her story with us.

As a Grand Prize winner, Sarah has earned a 50% Sponsorship for her local Lions Club, who sponsored her as a delegate when she attended. She will also receive a WAS t-shirt and water bottle. Congratulations and thank you, Sarah!
