PUBLISHED MARCH 23, 2020.

To our colleagues and supporters,

This is to bring you up to date on this year’s World Affairs Seminar. As you know, the situation is changing rapidly as new information is made available about COVID 19

We have been in close contact with Carroll University and we are closely following state, national and international events as they unfold. It is our deep commitment to protect student and staff safety in ways which are reasonable and fair to everyone involved. To that end we have put together a team consisting of staff and board members to explore issues and to develop solutions.

At this time we have not made any firm decisions regarding the World Affairs Seminar event. We are, however, exploring a number of options. One option is offering an Online or Virtual Seminar. We are fortunate to have the talent and skills needed to make this happen. We are also discussing fiscal issues including the obligations we have to sponsors, and ways in which we can ensure WAS has the wherewithal to survive this most recent challenge.

Continued program-related updates will be shared at https://worldaffairsseminar.org/coronavirus-updates/ . Please feel free to contact us via email at contact@worldaffairsseminar.org with any questions or concerns that you may have. Note that our office phone may not be monitored and voicemail service is not available at this time.

We thank you in advance for your understanding and support.
