Dear staff & counselors,
Welcome WAS staff! If you have worked with us in the past – welcome back! If this is your first year with WAS, I would like to officially welcome you to the team. World Affairs Seminar Staff Counselors and Nurses are highly valued and the backbone of the seminar experience. Throughout the week, you will help create a safe, positive, and fun environment, while facilitating the extensive academic curriculum as a cohesive and well-trained leadership team.
As Academic Dean, it is my job to shape the content of the seminar. That being said, I welcome ideas/suggestions/feedback on every aspect of the seminar. As you are probably aware, the theme for this year is “Innovation: Shaping the World You Will Inherit.” Do you have any thoughts on themes we should address? Speakers we should reach out to? Field trips we need to take? Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with your ideas. You may also submit your response by using the form below. My email address is carriere@msoe.edu and my phone number is (414) 277-7363.
I will be in touch with all of you leading up to June 2018, with information on training and other seminar-related matters.
Congratulations & welcome to the World Affairs Seminar team! See you in June.
Michael H. Carriere, Ph.D.
